Total genius or absolute liar? Intentional iconoclast or lucky opportunist? Revolutionaryat heart or hidden bourgeois? A new history of cinema was born with Godard or hedigged the grave? Full of contradictions, in constant opposition with himself and withan egotistical spirit that no one has been able to match until now, Jean-Luc Godard hasbecome one of the main names of the seventh art. His recent departure allows us to takean overview of his filmography.
