Abstract

From his revelation as a filmmaker to the present day, Alfred Hitchcock, the master of suspense, is one of the best film directors in history. Idolized and respected by many, some people claim that it is impossible to match their style. However, those who love and admire him (filmically speaking) reference him in his films. This is the case of the renowned spanish filmmaker Álex de la Iglesia, who offers several components of Hitchcock’s cinema in some of his movies: Crimen perfecto, La comunidad and El día de la bestia.
