Abstract

Feminism refers to a social movement that seeks for women’s abilities to be recognized just like those of men. This movement has been incorporated intofilm industry as it seems that women are given a more important role in movies, which is evidenced in Isabel Coixet and Claire Denis’s films. Both authors explores on the feminine from the point of view of women.
